Golden Oak Gatherings was created for the DIY enthusiasts and time-poor hosts who want beautiful, stress-free events without the overwhelm. The inspiration for the business began when founder Isabell Graham planned and styled her own wedding on her acreage property. It quickly became clear just how challenging it was to create a picture-perfect event alone — especially without the support and staff that traditional venues provide.

From sourcing beautiful décor to managing the set-up and pack-down, Isabell experienced firsthand the hurdles couples and hosts often face when trying to do it all themselves. That experience sparked an idea: to offer a service that bridges the gap for those wanting to bring their own vision to life, but who need an extra hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

With over a decade of experience in operations and logistics, Isabell built a career out of managing moving parts, solving problems, and making things happen — skills that now complement her creative passion for events. It was during her time working at a stunning event venue in the heart of Brisbane that she discovered the perfect fusion of both worlds: her love for structure and planning, and the joy of helping people celebrate their most meaningful moments.
